Banxia River is an essay collection by Shen Fuyu that reflects the landscapes and memories of rural China. I contributed to the book’s design and selected interior illustrations, working closely with the author and editor.

Under the guidance of Zhu Yingchun, the book was designed with illustrations extending across all page edges, creating a strong sense of visual continuity. Through careful attention to detail and spatial composition, the design evokes a feeling of distance—as if from a place far away—reinforcing the reflective tone of the text.
