We is a nonfiction picture book about women excelling in traditionally male-dominated fields, aimed at inspiring children to realize their potential. The text was written by Yu Yi (Deng Deng Deng, Special Mention in Fiction at the 2023 Bologna Children’s Book Fair). The overall artistic design was handled by renowned picture book creator Yu Rong, whose works have won numerous international and domestic awards and are beloved by readers worldwide. The book was coordinated by 21st Century Publishing Group and will be published internationally by Fox and Ink Books, with Chinese and English editions released simultaneously in 2026.

I illustrated Fan Jinshi, director of the Dunhuang Research Academy, creating a realistic and delicate portrait that incorporates imagery from the Dunhuang grottoes, reflecting her role as a guardian of cultural heritage.
