The Twenty-Four Solar Terms embody the wisdom of China’s agrarian civilization and a unique traditional aesthetic of time. This book presents twenty-four poems—each corresponding to one solar term—accompanied by illustrations inspired by the rhythms of nature.

In designing the book, I visualised the solar term system as a cyclical structure based on ancient observations of the Earth’s movement along the ecliptic, from the Beginning of Spring to Major Cold. The pattern integrates the table of contents, poetry, and illustrations into a continuous flow, inviting readers to experience time as a seasonal cycle rooted in traditional Chinese culture.
